This is a list of fiction examined through the eye of a writer. Sometimes by examining word choices and sentence structures we can unlock what makes good writers so good. However far more often we can examine what makes problematic writing problematic in order to avoid such errors. I'm no academic literary analyst though, and my ability to do lit analysis rings around Lit majors occurred only at the undergraduate level. However keeping a honed eye for reading with an eye to the choices the author is making can almost always be valuable, and I hope to do it here from time to time.
