Let's start with the bad news. Your cute and cuddly writer is sick. I'll spare you the grisly details about my specific constellation of symptoms, but suffice to say that my brain is currently melting inside my skull, so it's very hard to write.
My fever is actually down from yesterday, but I still feel like warm crap on a Triscuit. At least today I can string a sentence together. (Well, I think I can anyway. If this entry ends up being in cuneiform, then there's also something wrong with my visual processing.) Yesterday, though, was really bad, and I figured that I'd try to get you a good entry tomorrow rather than hork out some half assed post just because it's Monday.
But let's go on to the good news!
OG beat her cancer! Her labs all came back clear, which is the best possible outcome she could hope for. No chemo or radiation is needed.
I would do a dance, but I'm a little dizzy right this second.

So glad to hear about O.G.! Die, cancer, die! (But I'm sorry you are sick. "Warm crap on a Triscuit" sounds like whatever I've had lately. Maybe somebody sneezed on the last poll.)
ReplyDeleteDance anyway :-)
ReplyDeleteSo happy for your friend! And get well soon wishes for you!
ReplyDeleteSeriously yuck for you, awesome for O.G. Down both with cancer and feeling like warm crap on a triscuit - though I must say that's quite an image! Feel better!
